I recently en-counted an event 3 days ago. While leaving my workplace. as I was cycling along. I heard a woman's scream or rather a shriek. finding a guy running from a group of women empty handed towards a a motorcyclist who was waiting for him.
That time I was just 2 meters away from his motorcyclist friend just wondering and confirming was was going on. He looked at me, showing a "nothing" hand sign. i sort of guess has happened but inside me sort of refused to believe it and still waiting to confirm it. they rode away as i was staring at them.
I later went to check up with the women. Found out that, it was a snatch thief attempt, but the guy failed so. Even though it was a relief, I realized that i wasn't doing my part relief the incident when i was there. i found myself giving myself excuses saying that the 2 guys where bigger and well built, but still i didn't do what i should be doing.
By the time I've decided what should be done, it was over.
May the Lord forgive me and those guys and bless those women.
So how prepared are we when unexpected things that we already knew what we should do happens?
Thinking of this also reminds me of the second coming of Christ. How prepared are we when He comes.

Great Eastern 30K 2009
Last Sunday, I join in the Great Eastern 30K run. That day so happen was the birthday of one of my Church cell group sisters.
As usual I only manage to train about 1st a week since November.
The crowd before flag off.
A view while passing along Persiaran Tunku.
Bump into a GT3.

Throughout the whole race, i got 8 other runners commented me of my 2.5l bottle tumbler. soe even offered me to leave my bottle behind while they look after it. These had me thinking why telling me now of the previous 3~5 races i've done with it.
however it doesn't really matter as I found that the water bottle has helped some other runners who where behind, and we did has some nice chat along while finishing the race. Which I felt that God have sort of gave me a purpose to bring it along.
During this period (about 18KM), my knee has become seriously obviously very very achy.

After 7~10km worth of "crawling" finally see that I can stop.
Luckily, they where still much medals and food coupons and T-Shirts left even though we finished last. Well at least it was much better that Malakof 12km which i did last December where runners where forced to queue up for half hour to refreshments and much better that Mizuno wave run where we have to queue up to the FINISHING LINE (Where on earth can you find a race where you need to QUEUE UP DURING the RACE?)

Overall, the route has changed, and my clock time has deteriorated compared to last year. I managed to do about 4:18 (that's 50 minutes behind qualifying time) that time, while this time i think like i done an extra 10 minutes but felt like half and hour.
Next month wont be participating any races due to as I have duty in ministry in Church.

Trying out skill

As seen this is taken during the new year from my previous post with inspiration of making a panorama picture.
But i also know that there is still a long way to go to do a good image stitching. What I've involved here is using photoshop with plenty of image distortion.
Still yet to finish workout on the color between the images. Other parts of possible areas of improvement would be more steady hands while handling the camera, and much slower angle turning to get more images taken in order to create a smoother transition.

Year 2009 celebration
I'm back again!!! It's been quite a while, very very much since i last visited my own blog. Really this confirms that maintaining a blog even went not feeling like it, does take a lot of discipline.
Anyway, to fellow visitors I would say
Happy New Year 2009!!!!
Yayyyyyy..................
Last night, I've spent the moment in One Utama, Damansara Utama with one of my house mates, and a church cell brother.
Initially I wanted to head for Dataran merdeka or KLCC to witness the a countdown 1 mile dash run and and then the count down celebration.
But due to weather condition (quite cloudy and windy), it was suggested to the above place instead as it was closer. I also followed along to give up on the initial idea as i felt we were behind planed schedule.
During the trip, interestingly we faced some ordeals. I was carrying my cellgroup brother on my motorcycle and he was like a little momentousness. We fell or crashed twice. It was also his second time in his life traveling on a bike.
First time we stopped at a junction while moving uphill. Cause due to unbalance weight distribution to the back of the motorcycle, I had the bike went vertically up with the front pointing upwards and we fell backwards. Luckily, nobody was injured but my bro got bumped on his leg. we praised the Lord for the new experience and went on.
Mana tau, just about 500 meter from the we crashed again into a pit of construction stones or rocks. This time I lost control of the bike while trying to make a turn. Had mildly scratch my elbow.
Of course we praised....again.
When we got there, the crowds were entertained by some fire blowers, and a bunch of hip hop kids.

The even was organized by DiGi and also invited were several people from 988 fm, Red.frm, and some local and 1 Hongkong artists.

... but then.. dunno any of them...
Also during this time my bro discovered that his cell phone which had problems in lighting up, miraculously lit up back to normal. He mentioned it happened during the fall just now.
Very cool blessing it was.

Anyware just before 12 minight. Not far from our place, we saw another fireworks display held in the Curve-Ikano area.... Talk about double blessings.
Then our side.

Oh ya.. this is the first time, i've experienced witnessing fireworks display this close till to have fireworks debris falling to our faces as we look up.
Background music was Adagio For Strings from Tiesto which did boost my mood.
There's also a big balloon carrying wishes notes being set up.

We then went home to my place. (ps this is also my first time i've brought or lead a memeber to the church to my place, made me feel a bit nervous as my place is very much in a mess.)
actually many things happened yesterday itself, i had a jungle tracking trip with my bro and ended up sh*ting due to a triple patty ramli burger (daginikanayam-> daging-ikan-ayam spesial) which i had the night before, to long chatting, to prayer for a sister, to crashes, to concert, to countdown, to going back home.
By the end of the day, all was pretty worth it and great experience.
Also many things an events has taken place last year which I have yet to share.
Anyway, to you guys have a blessed year.

Discover Dinner
Sometimes as part of living, with food prices going up, slaughtered by food outlets. I believe most people would eventually have to at least prepare something for a meal.
Like most bachelors, we do find it common to have "maggie mee" for a full meal.
Here a step i manage to capture while preparing on of my meals .... initially... however the menu sorta changed a bit as my roommate wanna join in. with some of his stuff... so in the process wasn't quite well plan and became a time for us to discover what we can do.
So here is what we have are for 2 servings.
Not sure if I'll attempt this again.

So here is what we have are for 2 servings.
- 5 cloves of garlic -diced
- 1 whole shallot/reg onions -chopped
- 1 carrot -shredded
- 1 can of TC boy salad salmon

- 2 eggs
1 can of REX asparagus mushroom

- half of a broccoli - choped
- 3 pieces of mee
- Boil a pot of water.

- Pour boiling water to the broccolis just to lightly cook them

- Boil the mee with the remaining water.

- using a Wok/or a large frying pan to stir fry the garlic and onions

- after a short while add in the eggs

- Add 2-3 pinches of salt for flavoring

- Then some peeper.

- Boil the asparagus mushrooms.

- Then throw in the fried eggs prepared just now

- Then 1 tblspoon of sesame oil.

- then a bit of spicy shrimp paste.

- Stir fry and boil the mixture till looks like err..... best not imagine too far.

- After placing mixture aside. simply heat up the TC boy salmon.

- Then all place to respective dish and serve.

Not sure if I'll attempt this again.

Road pics
Dated 11July2008

Bentley Continental GT outside MidValley

2003 Nissan Skyline 350GT also outside Midvalley
Dated 12 July2008 :

2007 Audi TT Coupe in IKANO
I managed take a seat in it. and found the followings:

Head of display in the TT
Leg room seems a little ...errm.... tight.
Also found that the seats are motor powered, that'll be something for the buyer to brag about. however this feature did had a downside. to adjust it takes a whole long 10 seconds just to move the seats. And this doesn't seem to work well with the back seats. If i happen to have a kid or a dog in a rush to some kiddie party, this won't make me feel great.
